Although not a taxing body, the Board of Regents has a tremendous fiduciary responsibility to determine how to best spend he millions of tax dollars allocated to the state’s university system.

Partner with Industry to Help Create Good Jobs and Qualified Graduates to keep more of our youth from leaving the state.

Hal was one of the original boosters of the concept of creating UNO’s College of Information Science and Technology.

Be a strong advocate for UNO and the Nebraska Medical Center to ensure that they remain key elements in the university system.

Omaha must remain one of the central locations for these key educational institutions, which contribute so much to the state and are vital to the Omaha economy.
